G5 Shallow Woofer Series

The new G5 Shallow woofers are relentlessly advancing the development of woofer technology – up to the next evolutionary step, unmistakably made by EMPHASER.
More power, less space – to build a woofer that provides superior performance yet needs little space and can be smoothly integrated into any automobile – this is the aim for the bass drivers from G5.
In order to consolidate power sound, stimulating visual appearance, and compact construction, only a radical optimization of material and numerous innovative constructional measures came into consideration:

• extremely shallowly built, easy to install EMPHASER die-cast aluminum baskets with clever venting and cooling methods
• ultra-strong neodymium magnets for high efficiency, distortion-free accuracy, and compact design
• rigid, very light PP injection cones, consisting of a three part assembly and a semi-transparent dust cap for undistorted bass with a dry kick
• temperature-resistant 2.5“ or 3“ voice coils on polyimide formers, made of 4-layer wound aluminum wire
• centered spiders made of Nomex for enhanced linear excursion

These smart bass machines are suited for fitting in mid-size bass systems, such as bass reflex, band pass, or sealed enclosures. With peak power handling of 500 to 700 watts and an installation depth of 64 to 77 mm, there is sure to be enough room for best vibrations by EMPHASER.
